Meet The Team

Mary Marsh – Manager

I have over 25 years’ experience of working with children and families, I have managed several services which have included EBD, LD/Autism, an 8-bed female secure unit and 4 specialized services for young people who displayed sexually inappropriate behaviours. I have also worked in a female CAMHS unit and with vulnerable families in the local community.

I was recently employed as a Registered Manager of a 5-bed family assessment Centre and supported many vulnerable families through the assessment process. I am committed to wanting to achieve the best possible outcomes for families. As the registered manager, I will focus on building strong supportive relationships with the families, providing access to appropriate resources for the families, and promoting positive parenting practices.

I will ensure that there is open and transparent communication with families and will endeavour to empower families to build resilience through access to the relevant resources and support systems. Within the home we will encourage positive interactions, nurturing and consistent discipline, open communication and will support parents in understanding the assessment process.

I hold a Diploma in Social Work and Level 5 Qualification in the Management of Children and Young People. I have previously worked with local stakeholders, other professionals including health, housing and local charities and community groups to support families placed within the organization. I have a wide range of knowledge and experience of working with the regulatory bodies and with the family Centre.
