Meet The Team

Compassionate Team Leader for Aruna House, a parent‑child residential service.

In this role, I oversee daily operations, support staff to deliver person‑centred care, ensure full compliance with regulatory standards including Ofsted and the National Minimum Standards, and work directly with families to build confidence, strengthen parenting skills, and support positive outcomes for children.

I bring over 12 years’ experience supporting children and families across NHS maternity and community settings. Level 2 qualified in breastfeeding support, alongside Level 2 & 3 Basic Life Support for adults and paediatrics.

Fluent in English, Somali and Dutch, I provide inclusive, culturally sensitive support. Currently studying Health and Social Care at university, and as a mother of three, I combine professional expertise and lived experience to deliver safe, compassionate care that helps families thrive.
